The Artists

Jamie Robinson has been a musician and producers in eastern Canada for over 20 years. As a multi-styled, multi- instrumentalist – “all things strings” – musician/sideman, Jamie has and continues to work alongside many of the highest profile artists in the region – Jimmy Rankin, Gordie Sampson, Heather Rankin, Lennie Gallant, Bruce Guthro, Dave Gunning, Symphony Nova Scotia and many more. In addition to his work as a sideman and producer, Jamie is also highly sought after for his musical direction and band leading skills.

 

Dave Gunning is a folk singer from Pictou County, NS. He has released thirteen albums over the span of his career, received a Juno Award nomination and has been awarded two Canadian Folk Music Awards and recognized with eight East Coast Music Awards. Since debuting with his album Lost Tracks in 1997, Dave has proven he can find a song just about anywhere–in childhood memories, local legends, and the everyday lives of those around him–and turn it into something profound, honest and deeply moving.
