MISN member Monica Gutierrez was interviewed by Merle Davis from York University’s OPIRG about MISN’s upcoming “Building solidarity with Hondurans” event, and about the oppressive role of Canadian investment in the country.
The interview touches on the recently signed Honduras-Canada FTA, the many irregularities observed by delegations visiting Honduras elections and the impact of Canadian investment in the form of maquiladoras, mega-tourism projects and mining.
